Lawrence 'Larry" Boesel, 88, of Farmington, died on Monday, December 17,2012, in Farmington. He was born April 5, 1924 in Flat River, Mo.

Larry was a career military man who retired from the U.S. Air Force as a master sergeant in 1968. After military retirement, Larry continued working as an employee of Chavez County.

He retired from the county in 1986 and gained a love for dancing,playing music,traveling and fly fishing. After the passing of his first wife in1999. Larry met Gladys in 2000. They fell in love and got married and created many great memories. Larry will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Boesel and Anna Davis: brother Earl Boesel; daughter, Ela Mae Nettlingham; first wife
Verna Geraldine Boesel and grandparents Henry Richter and Nora Richter.

He is survived by his second wife, Gladys E. Boesel; daughters Cynthia Fridlich, Karen Hoskins, Cheryl Roberts and Theresa Boesel; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Bert Blackburn at 2:00 pm on December 28,2012 at the New Haven Baptist Temple, 2016 E. 16th street in Farmington.
