Kenneth Max King, went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. Kenny was born on Feb. 17, 1941, in Borger, Texas, to Hugh and Cleo Lee King. Kenny graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1959. He attended college at Fort Lewis and also Wayland Baptist college in Plainview, Texas. He married Diane Johnston in 1962 and they had two children. Kenny lived in Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico, working in chemical, oil and gas Industry. He retired in Bloomfield to be close to his wonderful mother, Cleo Hunter. Kenny enjoyed a good auction, building trailers and repairing his auction finds. Above all else Kenny loved talking about his Lord and Savior. He was very devoted to his men's church group and his Bible studies.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Hugh King. He is survived by his mother, Cleo Hunter; his son, Kevin King; daughter, Kimberly Bentley; grandchildren, Ashley Bentley, Mckinzie Bentley, Colton King, Clayton King and Caden King.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14 at First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, 200 W. Sycamore Ave.
Kenny's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.
