Juanita "Sharon" Lindsay, 57, of Farmington, passed away in Albuquerque on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She was born to Jose and Mary Casaus on January 11, 1959 in Farmington.
Sharon graduated from Farmington High School in 1977. She moved to Mesa, AZ and worked as a state insurance agent for State Compensation Fund up until 2001. She then moved back home to Farmington, NM.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Repito Casaus; brother J.R. Casaus jr.; half-brother, Anthony Candelaria; grandparents, Anicto and Pablita Casaus and Maria Ignacita Archuleta.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Lindsay and David Dykes; daughter, Raena Lindsay; mother, Mary Jane Casaus; brothers, Robert Casaus and Jeronimo Casaus; sister, Sandra Freeman; five grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A rosary will take place at 9:30am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave., in Farmington. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave., in Farmington. A reception will follow immediately after the Funeral Mass in the Family Center.
