Joyce Ann (Griffin) Griffin

Joyce Ann Griffin age 61 of Farmington NM, went to be with our Lord on December 27, 2017. She was born October 12, 1956 to Jim and Martha Griffin in Fort Worth, Texas. Joyce was a loving mother of three daughters. She worked very hard as a single mother to provide for her children. Many times she worked multiple jobs just to make ends met. She was a very strong willed person.
Joyce battled and eventually overcoming ovarian cancer in 2005. Joyce was always a home-maker. She loved going fishing, camping, growing flowers, reading, and spending time with her family. Her favorite song was "Amazing Grace" and her favorite time of the year was spring time; she loved to see all the new growth each spring brought. A few accomplishments that she was proud of were; raising her three beautiful daughters, getting her CDL, being there for her family and others, but most importantly she was grateful and amazed with the relationship she had with her Savior Jesus Christ. Her favorite places were Shiprock Mountain, the Grand Canyon, and home with her family. She always felt like she was a very blessed person and she loved life. Joyce was preceded in death by her biological father Jim Griffin, biological mother Martha Drake and by all of her grandparents. Joyce was survived by her step father Darrell Drake, three daughters; Rosa Freeman and husband Joshua Freeman, Donna McCann, and Tina Winchell and significant other Richard Perkins. eight grandsons; Jimmy Stahl, Poncho Morales, DJ Morales, Joel Morales, Durango Zuniga Griffin, Logan Lujan, Brian Merchant, and Jesse Griffin. Four granddaughters; Miranda 'Gonzales' Ybarra, Alicia Perkins, Katie Perkins, Darla Griffin and 9 great-grand children. Our beautiful and loving mother, grandmother and friend you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. Your memory lives on in us all. We will love you always and forever.
Memorial services are set for; 4:00 pm Saturday January 6, 2018 at Calvary Chapel 6925 E Main Farmington NM
