Joseph Ralph Ulibarri, 69, of Aztec, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, in Farmington. Ralph was born to Carlotta Valdez and Jose Ramon Ulibarri, in Las Nutrias., on March 19, 1947.

Ralph graduated from Ogden, UT high school in 1965. Ralph worked for 10 years as an assistant manager at the Jicarilla Apache grocery store in Dulce, NM. He was currently employed at Farmer's Family Center for 37 years. He was a very active member in the St. Joseph's Parish, where he participated in the men's club, Parish and Finance Council. Also, served as a CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister, usher and greeter, as well as calling Bingo. His hobbies included fishing and camping. He loved music and played the guitar, organ and harmonica. Ralph was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Ralph will be greatly missed but not forgotten by all of us and his spoiled pets, Goldie and Bella, he was always holding them. His wife and daughters will always cherish and love him.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Carlotta Casados, Jose Ramon Ulibarri; his brother, Ricardo Ulibarri; his sister, Stella Talamante; and his grandparents, Epifanio and Josefa Ulibarri, Carlotta Valdez and Julio Valdez. Ralph is survived by his wife Louisa (Rivera) Ulibarri, they were married on June 3, 1967 and had just recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.; his daughters, L.Claudine (Anthony) Mazzeo, Renee (Kevin Kennedy) Ulibarri; his brother Epifanio Ulibarri, and his sister Teresa Maez.

A funeral Mass will be held 9:30am, Friday, June 24, 2016 at St Joseph Catholic Church 424 N. Mesa Verde Ave in Aztec, with Fr. Kingsley George-Obilonu as Celebrant. Interment will immediately follow the Mass at Aztec Cemetery. A reception will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Hall. Pallbearers are Anthony Mazzeo and Kevin Kennedy.
