Joseph "Tom" Beyale, 69, Kirtland, passed away at his home Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, after a lengthy illness. Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, he went on to graduate from Northrup University in California. He was passionate about planes and was a great mechanic. He worked at the Gallup Airport and then in Alaska, fixing planes in remote places. He also worked at and retired early from Black Mesa Pipeline.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Lorraine Beyale. He leaves behind his wife of almost 30 years Maria; brothers, Larry (Ching) and Tony (Lucy) Beyale; sisters, Althea Anderson and Rena Beyale; step-children Chris (Robert) Parker, Betty Hagen and Bill (Kristi) Hagen; grandchildren, Tiffany, Nick, Andrew, Cody, Breanna, and especially his "ray of light", granddaughter Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and per Tom's request there will be no services. Tom loved animals, so donations may be made in Tom's name to your local animal shelter.
