Joe A. Garcia, 92, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Bloomfield. He was born to Manuel Garcia and Juanita Lopez-Garcia on January 21, 1924 in Santa Fe, NM. He was a United States Army Veteran. Joe was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters L.U. 412 for sixty five years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose A. Garcia and son Arthur J. Garcia. He is survived by his sons, Deacon Roger Garcia (Patty) and David Garcia (Juanita); grandchildren, Arthur, Angela, Eugene, Rose, Jessica, Manuel, William; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Deacon Timo Lujan will be reciting the Rosary at 7:00pm Sunday, September 25, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Monday, September 26, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield. Burial will take place at 12:45pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Special thanks to Adahy Gutieriez for her loving care of Joe, she was assisted by Josephina Duran. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Rose of Lima Family Center Building Fund.
