Joe M. Davidson

Joe M. Davidson, 86, of Portales, New Mexico passed away on January 1, 2021 in Kirtland, New Mexico. He was born on February 12, 1934 in Rochester, Texas to Carl and Lois Davidson.

Joe graduated from Rochester, Texas High School, where he played football. He then moved to Portales, New Mexico where he met and married the love of his life, Wynema Bobo. Joe worked for Ford Motors for many years in the parts department. He then went on to own two auto parts stores in the Farmington, New Mexico area. He then retired with Wynema in Portales, New Mexico.  He enjoyed the grandchildren, playing old country music on his guitar and doing crossword puzzles. He always missed the mountains and riding horses. He lived a full wonderful life with no regrets.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Lois Davidson, brothers; Wayne, Lynn and Darwin Davidson and sisters; Effe Lou, Verna Mae and Barbie. He is survived by his loving wife; Wynema Davidson, daughter; Tama (Kenneth) Hubbs, sister; Mary Lois Hollinsworth, granddaughters; Falisha(Donald) Boland and Alyssa (Shannon) Raines, grandsons; Kenneth (Tansey) Hubbs Jr and Zachary (Stacia) Hubbs, great grandchildren; T.J. Davis, Joseph Raines, Paiten Hubbs, Tucker Bolan, Brody Boland, Rylee Hubbs, Tripp Hubbs, Bristol Boland, Cooper Hubbs, Jase Hubbs, Olive Hubbs, Ruby Raines, Faithlynn Hubbs and Samuel Hubbs.

A Celebration of Life will be held via ZOOM on Saturday, January 09, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Robert Sprecher.
