Joaquin Miguel Aguilar, on September 14, 2019 at 3:33 PM, was called home to join the host of Heaven, who amongst them are many beloved family members and friends who preceded him in death. Wow, what a glorious reunion it must have been. Yet, far much greater than this was meeting Jesus. Words fail to describe the grandeur of such an encounter. Joaquin worked in the oilfields his entire adult life. His smile was contagious and uplifting. He especially loved his time with his granddaughter, Teigan. Joaquin enjoyed fishing and hunting though he didn’t do much of it. He was an accomplished poker player, but his love, second to his family, was his motorcycle. Riding in the company of great friends and adopted family was his trill in life. At the end his bike rode him to Heaven’s gate.
Joaquin is preceded in death by his daughter; Miquela Aguilar. He is survived by his son; Adrian Aguilar, daughters; Breanna Knight (Logan), parents; Antonio Aguilar and Linda and Michael Sparks, siblings; Flora, Chris, Cory, Aaron, Mason and Eli Davidson, grandmother; Lucille Romero and grandchildren; Teigan and Bradlee.
A viewing will be held from 5-7PM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Cope Memorial Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Farmington.
