Jeff Hooper, 42 of Aztec, NM passed away Aug. 2, 2012 at SJRMC. Jeff graduated from Farmington High School in 1988. He worked as a surveyor and then in the Industrial Cleaning business. Jeff loved his animals, camping, fishing, hiking with his dog, and sports. He was an avid Raiders an Alabama football fan.
Jeff had a wonderful smile and a heart of gold, so it was not surprising to learn that he was a registered organ donor. Jeff was preceded in death by his brother Kelly, maternal grandparents, Carl and Winnie Gilliam, paternal grandfather Earl Hooper, and his beloved Aunt Nena and Uncle John Wood.
He is survived by his parents Jimmy and Linda Hooper and brother Kevin, all of Farmington. Also, his paternal grandmother, Thelma Hooper, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a very special friend, Dana Ann Montoya. In keeping with Jeff's wishes, he will be cremated with no services. The family will gather later at Bullhead City, AZ and spread his ashes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Farmington Animal Shelter.
