Jarvis Randall Jose, 39, of Fruitland, passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, in Farmington. He was born Oct. 9, 1977, in Shiprock, to Randall Jose and Heidi Jose.
Jarvis loved to spend time with his kids and wife, watch basketball and listen to music. He enjoyed working with his father-in-law, Jason Jackson, in the painting business.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his brother, Delbert Jose; sister, Sherissa Homer; grandfather, Tom Harry; uncle, Robert Charley; and mother-in-law, Lucinda S. Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Jose; sons, Silas Jarvis Jose and Jason Jarvis Jose; daughter, JaShyra Star Jose; parents, Randall Jose and Heidi Jose; brothers, Brandon Jose and Marvin Jose; sisters-in-law, Justine Jackson and Jaylee Jackson, and numerous aunts and uncles.
A funeral service for Jarvis will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, 404 W. Arrington St. Burial to follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. A reception will follow at the Episcopal Church in Navajoland, 1257 Mission Ave. in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Brandon Jose, Harold Charles, Johnny Smith, Cedric Bileen, Donavon Tallbrother and Andre Charley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sabrina Jose.
Jarvis' care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland, 458 Road 6100, 505-598-9636. Those who wish to express their condolences may do so at serenityandcompany.com.
