Jarrett Ruger McKnight

Jarrett McKnight, 22, of Aztec, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Portales. He was born on June 20, 1994 to Mark and Yvette McKnight in Farmington.
Jarrett graduated from Aztec High School. He was a senior at Eastern New Mexico University and work at Walmart. He enjoyed playing basketball, mud volleyball and competitive video games. Jarrett loved being in the outdoors; hunting, fishing and just being out in nature. He was proud of his truck, and he was always there when someone needed help.
Jarrett is preceded in death by his grandad, Penny McKnight.
Jarrett is survived by his mother and father, Mark and Yvette McKnight; his brother, Cody McKnight; his grandparents, Norma McKnight, Leroy and Jo Martinez.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, Dec 5th at Pinon Hills Community Church, 5101 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, with Fritz Polk officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at Pinon Hills Community Church. Pallbearers are Cody McKnight, Conner Gaskins, Dylan Osborne, Autumn Sutherland, Tristen Dunlap, Greg Larsen, Brandon Hall, Tanner Moore and Cody Small.
