James W. Berry Jr., 71, of Farmington passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Farmington. He was born on October 30, 1946 in Amarillo, TX to James W. Berry Sr. and Georgia Virginia Palmer.
Jim graduated from Palo Duro High, Amarillo, TX. He worked with dad during his teen years learning auto body work. Jim was called Jimbo all his life always happy and smiling. Jim adored his family and felt they were the most important thing in life. He had recently become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jim lived in Amarillo, TX until 1966 when he brought his sweetheart to New Mexico where he later started the Chimney and Lawn Doctors business.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hyland; twins sons at birth, Don and John; father, James W. Berry Sr.; grandparents, James W. Palmer, Johnnie Ethel Palmer, Clyde W. Berry and Callie Mae Kannes.
Jim is survived by sons, Steven Scott Berry, Paul Christopher Berry and Robert W. Berry Sr.; mother, Georgia Virginia Palmer; sisters, Juanita Sue Current-Olvera and Deandrea Dawn Peeples; grandchildren, Alexis Christensen, Adeline and Zoey Christensen of Rochester, NY; Caleb Berry, Isaac Berry and Aaron Berry of Las Vegas, NV; Kennedy S. Berry, Robert W. Berry Jr., and Paige A. Berry of Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
Jim's service and interment will be at later date.
