Jacob Wesley William Mastic

Jacob Wesley William Mastic, 17, of Farmington passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 in Farmington. Jake was born August 24, 1997 in Alpine, Texas the son of James (Wes) and Julie Mastic.
Jacob was junior at Rocinate High School in Farmington. He was a Piedra Vista JROTC cadet. Jacob was a cowboy from birth and a young saddle maker. He always had a smile and tried to bring happiness to everyone he knew. Jacob had a genuine talent for making people laugh. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather John Adams, great-grandparents James and Jane Paul McCormack and William and Jody Mastic.
Jacob leaves behind his parents Julie and Wesley Mastic, his best friend and sister Tori Mastic, grandparents Matt and Gracie Mastic of Clint, TX, Nedra Adams and Steve Glenn of Farmington; aunts and uncles Leah and Jesse Ray of Bloomfield, Bill and Sondra Adams of Santa Fe, Steven Glenn all of Farmington; cousins Tabitha Hanley, Sabrina Robinson, Chantile Robinson, R.J. Adams, Amber Adams, Johnney Youngs, and his cousin brother Zacharia Youngs, Mary Jo Huffaker and many friends.
Visitation is Sunday, February 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St.. in Farmington.
Funeral services are Monday, February 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4400 N. College Blvd. with Bishop Kirby Mortensen conducting. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 East Main St.
Pallbearers are Roger Tomlinson, Clayton Stanbaugh, Bill Adams, R.J. Adams, Ed Pinkerd and Jeff Hillard. Honorary pallbearers are Clint Mortenson, Jay Bouchee and Steven Glenn.
