On Friday, May 23, 2014, Isobel Limback went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Isobel Catherine Delacey was born March 28, 1926, in Glasgow, Scotland.
On July 14, 1944, she married the love of her life, Norman Limback. Shortly thereafter the couple left Scotland to live in the United States. In July of this year they would have celebrated 70 years together.
Moving from Peoria, Ill., in 1956, they moved to Albuquerque, where they lived for 19 years. Farmington became their home in 1975. Isobel is survived by her husband Norman, and their four sons, Steven and his wife Karen, Ronald, Mark and his wife Kerry, Howard and his wife Debbie; her sisters Jessie Noll of Peoria, Ill., Muriel Noll of California and nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Isobel was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a caring grandmother. She lived her life courageously and with a strong faith.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at Zion Lutheran Church, 7455 Foothills Dr. in Farmington, with Pastor Gary Thur officiating. Interment will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, at Memory
Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St., in Farmington.
