Harry N. Burns, 65, of Farmington passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. Harry was born December 12, 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut the son of Donald and Louise Burns.
Harry and his family moved from North Branford, Connecticut to Farmington in 1996. He was employed by Walmart for the last twelve years. He was a mentor with many children's non-profit organizations in Farmington and Shiprock. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family and working on various outdoor projects. He was one to lend a helping hand, make you laugh, and had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by all.
Harry leaves behind his wife Eleanor Burns and son Scott Burns; brothers Alan Burns, Rick Burns and wife Tracy Burns; nephews Tyler Burns and wife Leslie Burns, Cory Burns; and many dear friends and colleagues.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St., in Farmington all friends and family are invited. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Harry's life will follow also on Wednesday, June 10th at 1:00 p.m. also at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home with Pastors Tim Hargrove and Jim Baker officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Walmart and Associates, United Way, Echo Food Bank, Navajo Mission, Child Haven, Boys and Girls Club; and his family; Alan, Rick, Scott, Tracy, Tyler, and Cory Burns.
