Glenda Jean Salazar, 59, went home to her heavenly Father on Tuesday, Feb 6, 2018. She was born in Durango, to Genaro and Gertrude Salazar, on March 11, 1958. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and visiting with her family. She also loved time spent with her friends; dancing, talking, and lots of laughter. Glenda was the backbone to the family, always helping others and giving her love and support. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her especially her one and only son Antonio Manzanares. We want to thank all the staff at Davita Dialysis for their outpouring of love and care; she cherished the relationships that she built there. Glenda was preceded in death by her dad, Genaro Salazar; sister, Gail Salazar and niece, Dreanna Salazar. She is survived by her son, Antonio (Jessica) Manzanares; granddaughters, Mariah and Nevaeh Manzanares; who she loved with all her heart; her mother, Gertrude Salazar; five brothers, Gary, Glen, Gilbert (Michelle), Junior (Norma), Gabe (Vanessa) Salazar; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her longtime friend Crestino Lucero for all the loving care he gave to her. They are forever grateful.
