September 12, 1933-March 18, 2014
Jean C. Mitchell of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
She had been a resident of Farmington for 10 years. She moved here
from Arizona after the death of her husband, Harry J.

Jean loved music and has been a member of a church choir since she was 17.

Jean is survived by three sons, Michael (Roseanne) of Tonto Basin,
Ariz., Harry L. (Pamela) of Farmington and Steve of San Diego, Calif.;
three grandchildren, Jay Michael of Phoenix, Ariz., Randi, a senior at
New Mexico State University and Erin, a student of Farmington High
School. Having lost to death her sister, Mary and brother John; she is
survived by a sister Dorothy Maxwell of Nashville, Tenn. She is also
survived by a niece Ruth (Steve Haynes) of Rio Vista, Calif.; nephews,
Shawn (Kathy) Maxwell of Nashville and Barry (Debbi) Bunch of Mason,
Mich.; great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends both here and
in Bisbee, Ariz.

As per her wishes, she was immediately cremated.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. at Alternative Choice in Farmington.

Inurnment will be held in the family plot in Bisbee, Ariz.

Donations may be made to the San Juan Symphony, Box 2701, Farmington, NM 87499.

Jean's care is entrusted to Alternative Choice, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in
