Gerald Godfrey passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Farmington. He was born in Lyons, Kan., March 9, 1936.Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Godfrey; brother, Richard and his first wife, Marilyn. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan of the family home; his children and step-children, Debra Doss (Jim) of Farmington, Dana Pruitt (Craig) Woodlands, Texas, Mark (Alice) Farmington, Dianne Gaona (Kenny) Austin, Texas, Kathy Butters (Tom), Midland, Texas, Michelle Aufrance, Farmington and Michael Aufrance, Nashville, Tenn. Also included in the family of which Gerald was very proud of were his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Gerald was the Nabisco representative serving the Four Corners Rocky Mountain Region for thirty-five years. He retired at the age of fifty-seven enjoying golf and casinos.He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus; both third and fourth degree holding various offices here locally and state level. Several years ago Gerald was honored to have been selected to the Knights of Columbus Hall of Fame. He was also a life member and Past Trustee of Farmington Elks Lodge 1747. Gerald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington. Cremation has taken place.Rosary for Gerald will be 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington. A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, with Father Tim Farrell celebrant.
