Geneva "Jean" Robinson Lumpkins, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the age of 96. She was born in Kanab, Utah, May 10, 1918. She was the last living child born to Wilford Smith Robinson and Maude Deborah Swapp. She graduated from Kanab High School in the class of 1936. She met the love of her life, Louie Lumpkins, who lodged in Kanab, while working in road construction building roads across the Kaibab. After their marriage they raised 4 children and settled in Farmington, New Mexico in 1954. She is survived by daughters, Jeanne Cahoon Cook (Jack) of Farmington, Debbie Smith (Arvid) of South Jordon, Utah, and son Ches Lumpkins of Magna, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother, her beloved husband Louie, oldest daughter Chris Cook, granddaughter Amy Cahoon, and great granddaughter Tiffany Cook. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Apache Building, 400 W. Apache St., with Bishop Jeffery Nygren officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bret Cook, Greg Cook, Kurt Cook, Cary Cahoon, Darin Cahoon, Scot Cahoon, Mark Lorenzen, Jason Wright, and Jed Wright. Honorary pallbearers are all her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Jean's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. Farmington, 505-325-8688.
