Fredrick John Christensen, 34, of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, in Rio Rancho as the result of an automobile accident. Fred was born April 20, 1980, in Farmington, to Lillian and Patrick Christensen. Fred attended Schools in Kirtland and Farmington. Fred spent his working career doing various jobs in the oilfield industry around Farmington and did a tour in Texas while working for Weatherford. Fred was charismatic and had a gift of gab. He could make friends or enemies right on the spot, but wasn't a stranger to anyone for long. The ladies loved his adorable smile and unforgettable laugh. He loved sports and played baseball, soccer, wrestling, golf, football and skied. He was an avid sports fan and a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. Fred was an enthusiastic player for the New Mexico Miners Semi Pro Football Team from Farmington. Fred is survived by his daughter, Tianna Marie and son, Jayce Marty Christensen, His father Patrick Christensen and wife Judy; his mother, Lillian Haws and husband Chuck; his sister, Briona Moore and husband Jack all of Farmington; his sister, Denise Gomez of Westminster Co. Step sisters are Candace Reynolds and husband RJ of Houston and Summer Reddell and husband Aaron of Dallas; step-brother is Austin Haws of Farmington; nephew and nieces, Julian, Kylie, Kalyssa, Bionca and Khloe. A funeral service for Fred will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 30, at the Day 3 Church. 1111 S. Miller Ave., (Cross Miller Street Bridge to Murray Thruway and cross Murray to the church) in Farmington. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Farmington. 6917 East Main St.in Farmington. Pallbearers are Jack Moore, Julian Moore, Charles Haws, Austin Haws, Brad Dobbs and Jonathan Welch. In lieu of flowers, a Donation account has been established at Animas Credit Union in the name of Fredrick John Christensen.
