Felicita Antonio, 59, was born at B.I.C, in Otis, New Mexico to Bessie Sala (Bowman) and Archie Martinez. Felicia was part of the Mexican Clan and the Sagebrush Hill Clan. She attended Dzilth-na-o-dhle during her elementary and middle school years. She attended high school in Ignacio, Colorado. Felicia spent her days as a housekeeper. Her hobbies included scrap booking and doing research on Genealogy for her family and friends, singing and writing lyrics to songs, and playing with the grandchildren. She was known to use humor to lift up the spirits of others.
Felicia was preceded in death by her daughter; Dasha Benally, parents; Archie Martinez and Bessie Bowman, brothers; Leonard Beyale, Ernest Curley, and Thomas Juan, sister; Lucy Juan and grandparents; Fannie (Pena) Sala and James Thomas.
Felicia is survived by her loving husband Tracy Antonio, son; Tyson Benally, brother; Tommy Juan, sisters; Marlene Sam, Caroline Martinez Sells, Phyllis Martinez and Lucinda Juan, grandchildren; Dakarai Williams, Dyani Williams, and Archie Martinez.
A viewing for Felicia will be held at 9am on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 followed by the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Brethren In Christ Mission in Otis, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the B.I.C. Community Cemetery.
Services will be officiated by Pastor Tully Butler. Pallbearers are Tyson Benally, Leland Sam, Myron Lovato, Derrick K. Werito, Wadell J. Begay, and Lewis Benally.
