Fay Louise Jack

October 25, 1920 — December 5, 2012

Fay Louise Kight Johns Malquist Jack, 92, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 25, 1920, in Duncan, Okla., the daughter of Jesse F. Kight and Mattie Emma (Dean) Kight.
In her early years, Fay's family made several moves between Oklahoma and Arizona before they settled in Pima, Ariz., with extended family. Fay and Lavon grew up in the Gila Valley (Pima) and married June 1, 1938, this marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Fay was an Avon representative for many years and loved selling Avon and creating many lasting friendships. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fay loved to sew, crochet, embroider and quilt and attend her church which was very important to her.
Her smile, quick wit and laughter will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. God be with you Fay, until we meet again.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; LaVon Johns and daughter Darla Johns Blake; son-in-law, Cecil Kreidler; Vaughn Malquist and daughter, Arlene; Nelson Jack and daughters, Monta Smith and Deidre Allen; brother, Kenneth Dean Kight and her sisters, Geneva Kight Nash and Mildred Maxine Kight Stultz
Fay leaves behind her son, Wayne LaVon Johns and wife, Paula; daughter, Shari Kreidler; Vaughn's sons, Frank Malquist and wife, Linda; Nelson's sons, Larry Jack and wife, Loretta, Greg Jack and wife, Rhonda and LeGrand Jack and wife, Mecheal; brother, JB Kight and wife, Sally; sister-in-law, Rae Annette Kight; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and her dog, Mindy and many dear friends.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Dec. 7, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St., in Farmington.
A funeral service for Fay will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3rd Ward Chapel, 1310 E 25th St. (Knudsen) in Farmington, with Bishop Lane Allen conducting.
Interment will be private at Greenlawn Cemetery where Fay will be buried next to LaVon.
The family wishes to thank Guardian Angel Hospice for their kind care of Fay.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the charity of your choice .
Fay's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.
