Elizabeth "Beth" Jones Denoyer, passed away on Nov. 30, 2013. She was born to parents, Howard C. Jones and Patricia L. Jones on Dec. 25, 1969, at noon. Beth had a history of severe asthma and she had some cardiac issues the last few years. She was 43 years old when she died of pneumonia this year. She is survived by her siblings Doug Jones, Bruce Jones, Pam Arellano, Valerie Candelaria, and her step mother Nell Jones. Beth grew up in Farmington , where she went to high school. Beth made many friends over the years. She was athletic in her younger years, studying gymnastics, then later on became a seasoned equestrian in English style riding, classical dressage and jumping in competitions across New Mexico . She won quite a number of 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place ribbons in spite of her asthma. She studied journalism at Adams State University in Alamosa , Colo. and later ran two radio stations in Farmington , and two radio stations in Durango , Colo. , simultaneously. She married Alex Denoyer of Salida , Colo. , in 2005. She gave up the radio business, and they and the horses moved to a ranch 20 miles south of Pueblo, Colo. Beth was often alone on the ranch because Alex traveled all over the world building large bridges and dams. For a while in 20l2 and 2013, she again worked at a radio station this time in Pueblo , Colo. Ultimately, Beth and Alex divorced in 2013, and Nov. 15, the divorce of Alex and Beth was final. Beth passed away Nov. 30, due to respiratory complications and will now rest near her mother and grandparents in Pagosa Springs , Colo. , as she always wanted. May her soul rest in peace. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the EIks Lodge, 80l Municipal Drive, in Farmington . A graveside service will be at 3 p.m., at the Hilltop Cemetery , in Pagosa Springs , Colo. Beth's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E.
