Edward L. Sullivan, 76, of Aztec, died on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Farmington. He was born Sept. 17, 1936, in Memphis, Tenn.
Edward retired from Public Service of New Mexico in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Ed's great love of music was expressed by playing in local Bluegrass Bands and playing at the Bloomfield Nursing Home and various venues.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ocie and Maurine Sullivan.
Edward is survived by his wife, Ila Mae; sons, John, Robert and Larry; daughter, Linda and Dana; brother, Charles Sullivan; sister, Jean Carryer; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Piñon Hills Community Church, 5101 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, with Tim Hargrove officiating.
Edward's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec, 405 S. Main Ave., in Aztec 505-334-9332.
