Edith Pauline Moore, 87 of Bloomfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born on December 31, 1926 in Dallas, TX to Roland Jess Sloan and Alma Lucille (Jones) Sloan. Edith married the love of her life, Jack Milton Moore on July 3, 1946. Edith taught Sunday School in churches for many years. She loved to read her Bible and listen to gospel music. She loved to help people in time of need. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Moore; 6 sisters and 1 brother. Edith is survived by her husband, Jack Moore; daughters, Aneta Harder and Glenda Moore; son, Jack (Dawn) Moore; grandchildren, Christine (Sam) Zuni, Josh Moore, Tim Moore, Carla Moore, Christina Gebauer, Dorsey (Sheryl) Moore, and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Ridley and Wanda Steakbake; brother, Jess (Delores) Sloan, and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, September 18th at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., in Farmington. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 19th at Bloomfield Assembly of God, 211 E. Oak Ave., with Jack Moore, Earl McQuitty, and Ed Wolfard officiating.
