Dorothy Maxine Conlin, 94, of Farmington passed away March 17, 2016. She was born February 10, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Throughout her life, she was active in the church, spent many hours studying the bible, and loved the old hymns. Dorothy moved to the southwest in the 1960's and lived in Tucson, Arizona for many years where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Arizona. She was a nurse at the VA hospital in Tucson for more than twenty years and formed many warm friendships through her work. Dorothy loved the outdoors and was a proud docent at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson and an avid birder. She hiked the Grand Canyon several times and spent many an afternoon
at Sabino Canyon. She moved to Farmington , New Mexico in 2000 to be closer to family Dorothy is survived by her son, Chuck Waldman (Ann), and daughters Michaele Brandon (Bill) and Jill Morgan(Bill). Her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren were precious to her and she enjoyed their letters, photos, and visits. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Guardian Angel Home Health and Hospice, 2700 N. Hutton Ave., Farmington.
