Donna Faye Naylor Brimhall, 82, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, in Farmington. She was born Mar. 23, 1935, in Dillion, Mont. to George Edward Naylor and Margaret D. Naylor.

Donna and Max moved to Teec Nos Pos, Ariz. where Max went to work as a teacher for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Donna went to work as a teacher for the Head Start Program at Beclabito in 1966. Donna and Max moved to Toadlena Boarding School in 1972 and Donna taught at Newcomb Elementary School and drove the school bus from Newcomb to Toadlena daily. In 1979, they moved to Sanostee, where Donna continued her teaching and bus driving at Newcomb totaling 13 years.

In 1985, Donna and Max moved to Farmington where they had their home built. Donna taught school at the Mesa Verde Elementary School in Farmington until she retired in 1995 to take care of her parents here at their home in Farmington.

Donna received her Bachelor and Master's degrees in Education from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She had worked in Education for 29 years.

Donna had spent her life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she had served in many positions including in the LDS Temple in Albuquerque.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Margaret Naylor of Provo, Utah; her sister, Linda Hatch of Springville, Utah; granddaughter, Parisa Rad of Grand Prairie, Texas; and grandson, Brandon Carver of Honolulu, Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Max B. Brimhall; sons, Larry (Lynda) Larson of Topeka, Kan. and Blake (Ronda) Brimhall of Honolulu, Hawaii; daughters, Karen (Kenny) Wlodarczyk of Grand Prairie, Texas, Laura (John) Andrade of Ogden, Utah, Kathryn (Gary) Lawson of Edgewood, Md. and Shannon B. (Royd) McCargish of Albuquerque. Donna also has 21 grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather and Shiva, Vandad, Crystal, Timothy and Bijan, Rusty, Michael, Judy, Crystal, Brittany, Johnathan, Gerrit, Jay and Max, Joshua, Wade and Chavis, Matthew and Samuel. She is also survived by 20 precious great�grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15 at the Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.

A funeral service for Donna will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4400 College Blvd. in Farmington with Bishop Randy Rogers officiating. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington.
