Denise Marie Moffitt-Vidunas was born into this world on August 8, 1973 to Frances and Gary Moffitt. She passed from this life on May 4, 2016.
Denise never met a stranger. She had a gift for gab and always made each person feel special. Her compassion and empathy inspired everyone to be more loving and kind to each other. She was always looking for a way to help others and was her happiest when she was able to do so.
Her children were the light of her life. She loved to share stories about them and their accomplishments. She adored to watch them play sports and supported them with her entire being. When it came to her children she was a Mama bear and a force to reckon with.
She was a free spirit with a passion for traveling, food, music and of course, Christmas (all year). With her favorite musicians, Elvis and Duran Duran, it's no wonder that her favorite place to visit was Las Vegas, and she dreamt of living in London. Not to mention, she was a definite foody- a firm believer in "Eat dessert first."
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Bertha Robbins and her paternal grandparents, Melvin and Geraldine Moffitt. She leaves behind a grieving family and many friends. She is survived by her two loving children, Alexys (Lexy) Vidunas and Michael Vidunas, her parents Frances and Gary Moffitt, and her brother Vince Moffitt; also, by her nieces Sheala and Natasha Moffitt, nephew Asa Moffitt, their mother and Denise's good friend Miki Moffitt, as well as her fiancé Cameron Smith; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Denise was employed by Basin Home Health and Hospice and Basin Coordinated Healthcare having worked for the businesses from their inception in 1992. She worked in almost every internal position in the business from clerk to Vice President of Operations. Her commitment to, and belief in, the mission of the companies was a critical component in the success of Basin Home Health over the years. She was known and loved by many hundreds of employees, clients, family members, and colleagues in the industry around the country.
She was a very special human being, with a huge heart and a beautiful soul, who was not with us long enough.
