Deana Cole Scorup passed away June 1, 2016. Deana was born December 14, 1936 to Alene Butt and Clarence J. Cole.
She grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, relocating to Monticello, UT her junior year in High School, graduating the following year.
She married John M. Scorup November 9, 1966 and together they raised her two daughters from a previous marriage.
Deana dearly loved to cook and entertain. She worked as a Dietitian at the hospital, bartender at the Tavern
and spent one summer working as a swamp cook for Tag-A-Long river rafting tours in Moab.
Deana was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Klemp of Pasadena, CA and Michelle Comstock of Midland, TX,
granddaughters Samantha Covert, Melissa Klemp and Sydney Comstock,
her great grandchildren Alexxa Padilla, Tristyn Covert, Trinity Hurt and Lila Ceballos.
Services will be held 3:00pm, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the World Harvest Church in Farmington, NM
and interment Friday, 11:00am, June 10, 2016 at Monitcello Cemetery, Monticello, UT.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Human Society or a local Animal Shelter.
