David Jose Sr a beloved Father , Grandfather, Brother and Friend was born on May 3, 1950 to the late Charley Jesusa Jose and Fannie Becenti Jose. David was from Lybrook-Twin Pines New Mexico. He was of the Badlands People Clan, born for the Red Running Into Water Clan. David was one of the ten children. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymus Jose, Andy Jose, Taddy Jose and sisters Clara Jose, Elsie Jose and Alice Jose. He leaves behind two brothers , Steven Jose and Leo Jose, Two sisters Bessie Joses, and Bernice Jose; his children Malcolm Jose, Cassandra Jose, Delphine Jose, David Jose Jr., Coolidge Woodie, Yolanda Marshall, Cornelia George, Roseanna Martinez, Katrina Jose and two others; many Grandchildren and great grandkids; and nieces and nephews.
David was a Navajo Nation Police Officer, Law Advocate and Agency Director. He went on a two year mission with the LDS to Canada. He loved to help his family in any way he could. He loved to travel, to be in the mountains, loved western movies and country music. He enjoyed playing “Simple Man” by Lynard Skynard. Which certainly describes him.
We love you Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa and great Grandpa David. You will be dearly missed by all.
