Darlene M. Lear of Grants was called to heaven on July 18, 2014 she was at her home surrounded by her loving family, she was 75. She was born on December 14, 1938 in Norwood, Colorado to Floyd Trone and Beryl Moulton Trone.
Ms. Lear was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Grants; she was the owner/operator of Lear's Nursery and Flower Shop. She most recently was employed by the City of Grants. She enjoyed gardening and watching basketball, but will be remembered by her family and friends, for her gentle love, all of their precious time together and the pride she had, for her family especially for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Lear is survived by her daughters; Linda McBee and her husband Harold of Grants, Sherri Horacek and her husband Rick of Farmington, NM, and Penni Lovesee and her husband Dennis also of Grants. Ten grandchildren; Michael and Christy McBee, Derek and Alyssa McBee, Ashlei McBee, Kelly and Erin McBee, Dr. Rich and Courtney Horacek, Sandi and John Rogers, Gerald Horacek, Alissa and Ken Arciaga, Dustin Lovesee, and Dhaniell and Isaac Atencio. Sixteen Great-grandchildren; Ashton, Jaston, Kurston, Mikey, Christopher, Gavin, Taylor, Elijah, Caleb, Jackson, Mason, Eben, Arden, Embrey, Kyler, and ClifordReed. She is also survived by her sisters; Nancy Moore of Austin, TX. Wanda Montgomery and her husband Joe of Pendleton, SC., and one brother; Buddy Trone and his wife Terri of Phoenix, AZ. And her special daughter; Glenna Losito and her husband Pete also of Grants.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cliford A. Lear who passed away on July 20, 1999. Her parents; Floyd and Beryl Trone and one brother; Davey Trone.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday July 25, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Montgomery officiating. Inurnment of the cremated remains will follow at Grants Memorial Park.
Honorary Pallbearers include; Michael McBee, Dr. Rich Horacek, Derek McBee, Dustin Lovesee, Gerald Horacek, and Kelly McBee.
