Cynthia Ann (Martine) Martine

Cynthia "Cindy" A. Martine, 50 of Harvy, N.D., passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born on November 3, 1964 to Kenneth and Rita (Vigil) Martine in Gallup, NM. Cindy's clan was Be hai (Jicarilla Apache People) and born for Haltsooi Dine' (Big Meadows People).
Cindy graduated from Gallup High School and went on to complete her undergraduate degree at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. She later worked for Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY before moving to North Dakota where she attended University of North Dakota Medical School. Cindy graduated from medical school with a doctorate degree in Pediatrics. She completed her residency in Peoria, IL and later worked at the HIS Clinic in Fort Yates, ND. Most recently, Cindy was employed at Central Dakota Clinic and St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey, ND as a General Practitioner.
Cindy's passion was helping individuals in need and she dedicated her life to fulfilling that passion. Another of Cindy's passions was her family. She loved spending time with her them, especially her beloved children.
Cindy is survived by her sons Kenyon Anthony Davila, Peyton Bison Davila, and Bryan Cuckovich; parents Kenneth and Rita Martine; brothers Gary, Dwayne and Patrick Martine; and sisters Roxana Martine, Renita Lee, and Kandis Martine.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Francisco Luna Vigil and Alice (Antonio) Denetchilley; and paternal grandparents Juan Martine and Mabel (Coho) Martine.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 31st at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., in Farmington. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St., in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Halvin Lee, Justino Lee, Gary Martine, Dwayne Martine, Martin Pinnecoose, and Nathaniel Begay.
Arrangements are with Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., in Farmington, (505) 325-8688.
