Clorinda Ann Marie Velasquez, 54, spread her wings and went home to be with her mother, brother, and our Lord and Savior on June 25, 2020. Clorinda was born August 25, 1965 to Fidel and Vera Velasquez in Farmington, New Mexico. She attended school in Bloomfield and was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield, New Mexico. She loved orange, camping, horse racing, fishing, noodling, dancing, and the Denver Broncos. But most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren - they were her world. Clorinda loved her family and friends; she touched many hearts and had many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, brother, maternal and paternal grandparents, and 6 uncles and aunts. She is survived by her father Fidel; sisters Gertrude Velasquez and Gina Yazzie; daughter Verna (Victor) Rodriguez; sons Christopher (Lucia) Wilson, and Patrick (Alicia) Wilson; grandchildren Patrick, Andrew, Trenity, Adrien, Victoria, Felisity, Mathias, Alyse, Kristiana, and Javen; nieces Cherelle (Saul), LaVette (Matt), Valerie (Jacob), and Starlyn; nephews Alfonso (Darryl), Santiago, Antonio, many cousin and friends whom she considered as family. Pallbearers: Verna Rodriguez, Christopher Wilson, and Patrick Wilson Honorary Pallbearers: Patrick, Andrew, Trenity, Adrien, Victoria, Felisity, Mathias, Alyse, Kristiana and Javen. There will be a visitation at Cope Memorial in Farmington, New Mexico, Thursday July 9, 2020, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please respect the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the family.
