Claudine Hockett, 61, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend passed peacefully Thursday morning, Sept.1, 2016. She was born July 10, 1955, in Farmington, to Harold and Adah Bennett. Claudine met Skip Hockett, the love of her life, who she married on March 24, 1978 in Farmington. Claudine was preceded in death by her mother, Adah Bennett; brother, James Lee Bennett; and sister Adah Michelle Briggs. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Skip Hockett; children, Christy Dunson (Lynn), Victor Hockett (Darla), Leah Frost (Bryce), her favorite child, Jimmy Hockett (Heather); and step-in mother to Cody (Stacie) and Shelby Briggs. Among many things she was also a proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren. Claudine will be remembered as a devoted faithful wife, mother to anyone who came into her home, a selfless loving daughter, her charitable nature and unconditional love for her family and friends. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today, Sept. 7, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1310 E. 25th St. in Farmington.
