Christopher Creighton Cloud, 32, of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Farmington. He was born Sept. 4, 1981, in Shiprock, to Jimmy and Bertha Cloud.He was born to Naatani and he was born for the Kinlichii'nii. Christopher was a 2002 graduate of Gallup Central High School. He served in the U.S. Army for 11 years and was honorably discharged in May of 2014. He was very proud to have served in Iraq and in Korea. Christopher's favorite movies included Classic Marvel and DC Comic. He enjoyed family time and driving his Chevy Camaro. Christopher was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Cloud and his grandparents, Flora Joe, John Joe Sr., Jim Cloud and Beth Cloud. He is survived by his son Jayden Cloud; father Jimmy Cloud; brothers, Charles Cloud, Roland Peshlakai and Rick Peshlakai; and his sisters, Debbie Peshlakai and Dea Barber.A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, with the Rev. Fred Yazzie officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. A reception will follow the burial at Desert View Church, off Navajo Route 36 in Upper Fruitland. Pallbearers are Leonard Toledo Jr., Lafe Kinsel, Elton Kinsel, Carlos Ramos, Lambert Norberto and Raymond Tacheenie. Christopher's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
