Funeral services for Charlotte "Chala" Robertson, 44, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at St. Isabel's Catholic Church. Sister Rose Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Lukachukai Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Victor J. Clyde's residence.

Robertson died April 9, 2013, in Mesa, Ariz. She was born April 12, 1968, in Chinle, Ariz., into the Red Running into the Water People Clan for the Water's Edge People Clan.

Robertson graduated from Monument Valley High School and received her Medical Assistant Certification from Apollo College. She was employed as a substitute teacher for Gallup schools and as a medical assistant at Tsaile Health Center.

Survivors include her son Turrell Sorrell, of Lukachukai, Ariz.; daughter Latisha Sorrell, of Lukachukai; parents Lille Ann Robertson, of Lukachukai, and Marshall Robertson of Valley Store, Ariz.; brothers Virgil Clyde, of Gallup, and Victor J. Clyde, of Lukachukai; and sisters Sharon Robertson, of Window Rock, Ariz., and Tammy Robertson, of Mesa, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kanishia Sorrell and brothers Gordon and Marvin Robertson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Victor J. Clyde's residence.

Tse Bonito Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
