Charles Alan Fred of Farmington was born on Aug. 26, 1982, in Midland, Texas. He left this earth too soon on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. He was the only son of Charles and Kyong Fred.
He took pride in many things, one of which was working at his parent's family business, but above all he treasured his three girls: his wife, Katie, and his two beautiful daughters, Madison and Payton. Charles was a devoted and loving husband and worshipped the ground that Katie walked on. They supported each other through many trials and tribulations all the while growing as one. Together, they created two amazing little girls who won over their daddy's heart and turned him into the amazing man and father he became. Charles was dedicated to Katie and the girls, and his world revolved around them. His No. 1 goal in life was making them happy.
Charles was a lively person and always enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a huge passion for music, specifically heavy metal, and spent a period of his life attending school in Seattle studying to be an audio engineer. He carried this passion with him through being in several bands and always supported local music by running sound or attending concerts. He enjoyed doing just about anything as long as there were family and friends involved. Many hours were spent having barbecues and watching and arguing football, watching UFC or just getting the kids together to play. Charles was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and despised the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants, and he was not afraid to let it be known. His love for football was instilled in him from his father as a young boy.
Nobody will ever forget the times they spent with Charles and Katie and the girls. Charles had a larger than life personality and the ability to draw out the good in everyone. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, for always cracking jokes and for his love for his family and friends. He knew no strangers and would go out of his way to help anyone out, whether it was giving you a bed or couch to sleep on or being that someone to talk to. He was a truly genuine and unique person who was a light in a lot of people's lives and he will be missed. Through his loving and caring personality, Charles created a family from those around him, one whose bond can never be broken. He will be carried on through his beautiful daughters, and the many memories that will be shared. He will live on forever in the hearts of those who love him.
Charles is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ida Joe Adamson and Ralph Adamson; his dear friend, Dustin Davis; and his close friend and mentor, Casey Jenkins.
