Charles "Jay" Edmiston, 72, passed from his earthly home to dwell eternally with our Lord God on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Farmington. Jay was born in Dallas, Texas to parents J.C. and Opal Edmiston, with one sister, Norma J., all deceased. He resided in the Texas Panhandle area fifty years until moving to Farmington in 1990 where he was employed as sales representative in oil-related companies and was currently employed as credit advisor for Professional Well Services. Jay was a devoted member of "My Father's House" church pastured by our cherished friend, Bob Moon.
Jay leaves behind his wife Regina Edmiston, a retired teacher of Farmington, they were married forty-eight years. To this union were born four children, Lee Edmiston and wife Ella of Houston, TX, Mally Edmiston and wife Shelby, Coby Edmiston and Mandi Edmiston of Farmington; six grandchildren were Jay's pride and joy: Travis, Blake and Kyle of Houston, TX; Eli, Ari, and Cam of Farmington and many dear friends.
Cremation will take place and memorial services will be held Saturday, January 26, at 10:30 a.m. at My Father's House, 308 W. Broadway in Farmington with Pastor Bob Moon officiating.
Flowers may be delivered to the church or donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
