Charity Lynn Murphy returned home to our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2014. She is the daughter of Bruce Wade and Katrina Lynn (Ashbaker) Murphy of Aztec, New Mexico.
Charity was born with trisomy 18; a chromosome defect that shortened her time with us. While she was here she touched many lives with her sweet spirit and was greatly loved by family and friends.
This precious baby girl completed our family. She loved being the princess of the house. She didn't waste time stealing her daddy's attention when he would get home from work and loved being held by him. Charity loved her lively, rough and tumbling brothers. She enjoyed hearing them wrestle and play. It made her happy when her brothers took turns holding her and she liked seeing their gentle personalities as they did. She especially loved holding her mommy's hand and their snuggle time together. She loved how strong her mom taught her to be and marveled at her selfless care in her behalf. Charity liked teasing everyone by hiding her face with her little hands in all her pictures. We will miss her animated facial expressions that made us smile. Charity's time here has taught us to love more deeply and has reminded us that everyone has a divine purpose.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Roger Ashbaker and her paternal uncle Michael Scott Murphy.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her four loving brothers Kaiden Eugene, Ashton Wade, Trevyn James and Brycen Michael Murphy. Her paternal grandparents, Lewis "Schuyler" and Joyce Carolyn (Padgett) Murphy of Roosevelt, UT. Her maternal grandparents Thomas Emanuel and Mickie Lynn (Ashbaker) Warner of Kirtland, NM. As well as great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
We are grateful to be an eternal family sealed for time and all eternity in the holy temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, in Grace, Idaho, where she will be laid to rest in the family plot of the Grace City Cemetery. Charity's care is entrusted to Alternative Choice, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, 505-325-9611 tel:505-325-9611.
