Carl Peskor, a successful inventor and a jack of all trades, passed away at the young age of 85 from cancer at his home in Bloomfield, NM, on Sunday, September 25, 2016. He was born on July 3, 1931, in Garland, Manitoba, Canada. He was forced by his stepfather to move out at the age of 14 to protect his mother and himself, at the age of 17 he lied about his age to join the Canadian Army, from there on he had the drive that pursued his success that lasted a lifetime. In 1960, he was the President of Peskor Paving, Ltd. in Creston, British Columbia, Canada. Pursuant to moving to the USA from Canada in 1968, he was then hired as a Field Engineer/Erection Superintendent by R.A. Among other business ventures, in 1980 he had Peskor and Oil Production in Texas where he manufactured Pump Jacks from an idea he sketched at the dinner table, last but not least he had La Cass Development working at a Coal Mine in 1984. Everyone that knew Carl knew he was a go getter. He bought and sold equipment during his retirement as his hobby, especially known as the Generator Man Prior to the famous Y2K. During his lifetime he met some incredible business people, which in turn, turned out to be lifelong friends. The family is respecting his wishes, and will not have a funeral service. He was honored to have his close friends and family see him during his last days.
