Carl T. Bannowsky, 72, of Aztec, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, of a massive heart attack. He was born Jan. 19, 1943, in Flora Vista, to T.C. and Marie Bannowsky.
Carl was a long time supporter of opposing the county junk ordinance. He loved too collect old cars find treasures (junk) at auctions and yard sales, drink, coffee with his buddies, and hang out with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Larry and sister Beatrice; his loving wife Dorene; and oldest son Scott. He leaves behind two sons, Dennis and Jeff, daughter Beverly; four granddaughters, Kelsey, Shayla, Ashley and Alex; five grandsons, TJ, CL, Jason, Dusty and TK; one great-grandson D. Scott (Monkey);nephew, Justin and other numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 13, at Cope Memorial of Aztec. A convoy to the burial will be at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington. Anyone wanting to be a part of this, is welcome; the more the merrier.
