Carl Archer, 63, loving husband, dad, papaw, son, and uncle, passed away September 23, 2021. Carl was born in Mobile, Alabama on October 30, 1957. He moved to the Farmington area in 1974 where he met and married the love of his life, Rozanna (Hall) in 1975. Carl and Rozanna lived in the Blanco area since 1994. Carl worked in the oilfield until 2016 when he semi-retired so he could spend more time fishing and enjoying life.
Carl was loved by family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand or have a laugh. He loved fishing at the lake with his children and grandchildren, often out-fishing them all. He worked hard all his life and always put his family first, up until his final days. Carl had a booming laugh and smile that will be missed by all.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rozanna; his son, Daniel Archer (Amanda) of Midland, TX; daughter, Daysha Adams (Daimon) of Lumberton, MS; grandchildren, Thaddeus, Brayton, Sadie, Aydin, Alix and Bryon; brother, Scott Archer of Alabama; brother-in-laws, Dicky Hall (Carol) and Kent Hall (Jeanine) of Colorado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his father, James Archer; his mother, Betty Hoadley; and brothers, Kerwin and Curtis (Chuck) Archer.
Carl will be laid to rest next summer when his family can take him on one last fishing trip and spread his ashes while doing what he loved.
