Brian M. Higgins, 39, of Farmington, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, in Farmington. He was born May 22, 1977, in Ardmore, Okla to Weldon and Vicki Higgins..
Brian has lived in Farmington for most of his life. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1996. He has worked in the oilfield for many years and his specialty was BOP's. Brian was currently working for Totah Rental. Although Brian was a quiet man he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved his family and his extended family very much. He was truly a gentle giant. He was kind, giving and had a beautiful soul. When he wasn't working, he loved riding his motorcycle. He made every effort to spend time watching his niece and nephew participate in sports and school functions. He enjoyed trying to play golf with his Mom and Dad, even though his Mom is a stickler for the rules. If Brian wasn't with family or spending time with his best friend and his god children, he was at home relaxing with his two Great Danes. Brian was an amazing son, brother, brother-in-law, friend and god parent. He will truly be missed by everyone that has had the privilege to meet him.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Marie Harrision and Alfred and Betty Higgins. He is survived by his parents, Weldon and Vicki Higgins; sister, Misty Denney and husband Steven Denney; niece, Hanna Denney; and nephew, Ethan Denney.
A memorial service for Brian will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home Chapel, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington. There will be a reception to follow at VFW Post 2182, 5513 US-64 in Farmington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Wood, Dereck Rhoden, Dave Rhoden, Mike Childers, Steven Denney, Carl Benvegno, IOMC, Staff at Totah Rental and Aztec Well Family.
