Bonnie Frazer, 90, of Farmington passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 12th. She was born October 2, 1924 in Brownwood , TX . She was the daughter of Albert and Violet Ryan.
Bonnie was a devoted mother to her children and a loving, supportive wife to her husband, Hobby. She loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a devoted sister and friend. She had a very loving and generous heart. Always willing to help out where she could.
Bonnie was the owner, president and operator of 7-2-11 Food Stores. She was seen as a mother and friend to the people she worked with. She and her husband, Hobby, moved to Farmington in July 1956 to operate the first 7-2-11 Store on 20th Street . They ran the business together until 1984 when Hobby died. After his death, she continued to run the company with the help of family and wonderful employees. It has been a wonderful 58 years.
Bonnie loved animals. She will be greatly missed by her feral cats, skunks and raccoons that she has happily fed for years.
Bonnie was a faithful member of the Church of Christ .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobby Frazer; her parents, Albert and Violet Ryan; three sisters, Irene, Nell and Lillian; and one brother, Jack.
She is survived in death by her children Tobi Chapin, son-in-law Gene Chapin, Mark Frazer and Alan Frazer; 5 grandchildren Hobby Chapin (Jeri), Holly Watts (Justin), Traci Tang (Nicholas), Joshua Frazer (Aubrey) and Jordan Frazer (Deanza); 5 great grandchildren Jayden, Isaac, Henry, Ender, Brianna and the one on the way. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Durham; and two brothers, Albert Ryan, Jr. and Bobby Ryan (Edith) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. , Farmington . Funeral services will be held at the Northside Church of Christ, 401 W. 20th Street , at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 16th. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Greenlawn Cemetery .
Pallbearers will be Dave Greiner, Derrell Pitts, Joe Logue, Hobby Chapin, Joshua Frazer, Jordan Frazer, Justin Watts and Kenny Light.
Bonnie's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larking Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street , Farmington (505)325-8688.
