Bobby Jim Marshall Jr., 58, of Bloomfield passed away on Sunday June 14, 2015 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born Oct. 10, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Bobby and Betty Marshall. Bobby was a graduate of Shiprock High School and then served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for the San Juan County sheriff's department, and managed trading posts and grocery stores from Rock Point, AZ to Pine Hill, NM. Beyond that, he was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband and father, and grandfather. Bobby was generous kind, and courageous and left an impact on numerous people. His sense of humor could always brighten the day and his strength was always there to support those around him. He was the example those who know him held themselves to and he will be greatly missed.
Bobby was welcomed into heaven by his wife Dorothy Marshall and his father Bobby Jim Marshall.
He leaves behind his son Bobby Jim Marshall III; daughters Melanie Marshall; his mother Betty Marshall; brother Mike Marshall; sisters Tammy Coulon and Jan Ellis; grandchildren Kasey, Crystal, Keara, and Caitlyn.
Cremation will take place and private services will be held.
