Barbara Jane Webster Ellis, 70, of Farmington, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Farmington. She was born September 19, 1942 in Bay Village, Ohio to Glenn Allen Wright and Marjorie Grace Ruff.
Barbara was a graduate of Port Huron High School in Michigan. She attended port Huron Junior College in Port Huron , Michigan and was a licensed Court Stenographer Reporter (CSR).
She was a restaurant owner, secretary, computer typesetter and court reporter. She won 2nd place in a nationwide typing contest. She entertained and served everyone that came into her and her husband, Ken's restaurant, "Oliver's".
Barbara was a member of the New Mexico Court Report Association and the Four Corners Ramblers R.V. Club. She loved to play cards and was wickedly competitive.
Although Barbara was not a member of any church, she had amazing faith. She loved to make people laugh and had a great sense of humor. She could cuss better than anyone.
She was a amazing wife, mom and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Leroy ellis; her parents and her sister, Judith Ann Gott.
She is Survived by her husband, Marvin Wayne Webster; son , Mitchell Levi Webster; daughter kari Lynne Webster; bother , William Edward Wright and sisters, Marjorie Ellen Skaggs, Susan Jean Barath and Glenda June Griego.
A Celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, at 3202 Municipal Drive , in Farmington.
