Armando Jerry Marin

August 31, 1942 — June 22, 2016

Armando "Jerry" Marin, 73, entered into heaven on June 22, 2016, to join his lovely wife, Erlinda, to live in peaceful eternity with our Heavenly Father. Jerry was born in Ray, AZ, on August 31, 1942, to Armando and Georgia Marin. Farmington has been his home since 1981. He was a retired boilermaker out of Local 627 in Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda; his parents, grandparents and a daughter, Barbara Chavez. He is survived by daughters, Hope Flores, Tina Long, and Patsy Chavez; sons, Toby (Colleen) Chavez, Mitch Marin and Mike Marin; 13 grandchildren, William Long, Andrew (Devin) Long, Tony (Brooke) Long, James Aranda, Mando (Jessie) Chavez, Dominic and Veronica Chavez, Medi Salazar, Matias Snow, Justin Marin and Jennifer Marin; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Tommy (Debbie) Barajas, Bobby (Karrie) Barajas, Tony Marin, Leo Marin and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, at Brewer Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St., Farmington. A Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, June 29, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 East 20th St., Farmington, with Father Frank Chacon as Celebrant. Honorable pallbearers are William Long, Tony Long, Andrew Long, Dominic Chavez, Veronica Chavez, James Aranda, and Mondo Chavez. Jerry's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home.
