Arlington Kennedy Sr

Arlington Boyd Kennedy, Sr., "Arley", 69 years old, current resident of Rio Rancho, passed on December 11, 2016. He was born January 7, 1947, to Harold Boyd Kennedy and Bonnie Ray.
Arley grew up on the Navajo Reservation prior to enrolling at Farmington High School. He graduated in 1965, and served in the Navy for four years. He moved to Tucson in 1973, and began his family. Arley was passionate about art and possessed many talents in that area. He also lived with his family in Carlsbad for several years. Arley also received a BA in Business Administration from the Columbia Southern University and retired from Raytheon in 2011.
Arley was preceded in death by his father, Harold Boyd Kennedy; mother, Bonnie Varnell Kennedy Crook; sister, Carolyn Kennedy and stepfather Ed Crook.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Kennedy (husband Todd Mayer); and son Arlington Kennedy Jr. (wife Tammy Kennedy); grandchildren, Taylor, Drew, Sage and Aspen; siblings, Bonnie Gaye, Mike (wife Mickey), Cyndi (husband Mark), John (wife Heather) and Lyle (wife Sandra)
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, Dec. 17, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 473 Rd. 6100, Kirtland, NM. Interment will follow at the Kirtland - Fruitland Cemetery.
