Angela A Anaya-Montano

October 22, 1947 — February 24, 2022

Angie Anaya was born on October 22, 1947 to Fred and Mollie Anaya in Farmington, NM. She unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on February 24, 2022 in Farmington, NM.
Angie is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Mollie Anaya; 2 sons she loved so much, Danny and Marl Montano; siblings, Gene Chavez, Henrietta Chavez and Ben Anaya.
Angie is survived by sister Patty (David) Browning; children Carlos Montano, Lita Anaya and Josh Alcon who she loved and considered her own; grandchildren, Zach (Dayna) Montano, Jordan Montano, Gabbie (Chris) Montano, Greg (Leshae) Montano, Brandon Montano, Lola Anaya and Amia Alcon; great grandchildren, Vicente, Aliciana, Corbin, Danny, Bella, Ty Montano and the newest Montano baby coming; godchildren, Freddie Anaya, Toby Browning, Margaret Nieto and Abbi Anaya; birthday twin, TJ and her twin in general Carol Browning.
Angie worked in the silver and turquoise business for 5 years where she sold jewelry across the east coast. In 1980 she got a job at the Blanco Bar where she started a very successful bartender career. She was the best bartender the Wooden Nickel in Bloomfield has ever had. She met so many friends and made so many stories that she cherished till the end. In 1990 she became a convenience store clerk until she retired to take care of her parents. Angie had a strong faith she believe in everyday and loved her baby Jesus endlessly. She loved her grandchildren so much and each in their own way but never more than the other unless you’re Zach. She loved her great grandkids so much and was so proud to see her family growing. Angie loved the Dallas Cowboys faithfully no matter how good or bad they did. Angie was a rarer spark in the world that brought a light to everyone she knew and this world will never be the same without that contagious spirit she gave off. We will always love and miss you so much our 10,000 B.C.
